Basic Piano Lesson Program - Ages 6-18This program is great to prepare the young person for the opportunities life. They will learn a variety of styles such as Christian, classical, contemporary and more! Though I teach all styles, the repertoire is for their personal enjoyment so they will have a say as to what they want to be in the repertoire. Also, They will learn sightreading, ear training, song writing, improvising and will have opportunities to play in recitals (optional). Lessons are 30 minutes, once a week, they will be given a practice list at the end of each lesson for the following week. Parents, please be willing to encourage practice. The next lesson will review what we practiced and move on to the next challenge. I strive to always make lessons fun and reward practice. I do not expect perfection from the student instead i strive for personal growth.Adult Piano Lesson Program - Ages 18 +Always wanted to learn how to play? It's not too late! The adult program is designed for the busy adult with fun, easy lessons. First lesson we will determine what styles of music your interested in playing and will be given a practice list to practice between lessons. We will review it at the next lesson and will learn something new. Learning piano as an adult will improve your memory, coordination and give you an "escape" as you drift away in your playing. You will also get to be the person playing beautiful background music at the party while everyone says how envious they are, wishing they could play! I understand how busy adults life can be so I will adjust lesson plans according to fit the adults schedule.Homeschool Piano Lesson ProgramThis program has the benefits our basic program provides as it prepares the young musician for the opportunities life has to offer. Christian music is the base foundation of the curriculum such as fun Christian kid songs (that is great for younger siblings to sing along to), more traditional hymns and even the more contemporary Christian pieces. Lessons are 30 minutes/ once a week and the student will have a practice list to take home and prepare for the next lesson. A family room is provided for the mother and siblings during the lesson. A multiple sibling discount is offered and I love to teach duets to brothers and sisters!Summer Piano Lesson ProgramsAges 4 years old to adult. The students will learn rhythm, different notes and the time value. We will spend time on the piano learning how to identify the keys and prepare them for finger independence. The amount of time spent at the piano will depend on the child’s age, attention span and finger independence. Through this class the child will be getting the base foundation of music and the techniques needed to begin learning songs on the piano. We will do this in a fun, stress free atmosphere through games, singing, clapping, art, dancing and more!
